Kemberly Richardson is a multi-Emmy Award winning journalist. Her versatility as a reporter is exceptional, a rare find in an extremely competitive industry.

Kemberly graduated from Syracuse University and began her career in television at WNET in NYC. She then headed west to Ft. Wayne, Indiana, working as a reporter at ABC affiliate, WPTA. Up next, ABC affiliate KNTV in San Jose, California. After several years, Kemberly landed back home, in the #1 market in the country, joining the team at FOX5 in NYC. What followed was an exciting path as a national correspondent for the relaunch of BET Nightly News and strategizing in the media division at renowned public relations leader Fleishman Hillard.

Kemberly joined WABC in 2003 where she remains front and center, keeping viewers in the loop with breaking news and exclusive interviews with prominent figures and a long list of celebrities. Some of her most memorable moments include reporting on the September 11th terror attack, Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, historic Superstorm Sandy, a royal wedding in London, along with hosting fashion week specials.

Kemberly prides herself in telling unforgettable stories - protests following Eric Garner's death, George Floyd's murder, and Covid-19 as it hit the Tristate area in unprecedented ways. Whether on the street or in the studio anchoring, Kemberly connects with viewers in a unique way.

Born in Washington DC, Kemberly was raised in Westchester County, New York. Martha's Vineyard is her second home. A beach enthusiast who loves adventure, Kemberly has a fierce love of cycling, fresh flowers, puppies, home decor, fashion and anything that sparkles.
